D.O.A. (DEAD ON ARRIVAL) POLICY

Here at VF1 Systems LLC, we take all possible steps to insure the products you receive are complete and in working condition.  Products from the factory are checked to make sure all components are present and we check all Image Intensifiers and Thermal units to make sure they are performing to our high standards before shipping.  However, if the product should arrive D.O.A., the customer must report it to us within seventy two (72) hours of receipt and we will gladly expedite an exchange of the product if the following conditions are met:

  1. The product was not modified or disassembled in any way as to void the factory warranty.

  2. The customer contacted us in a timely fashion and was issued a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

Please keep in mind: We cannot accept the physically damaged product.  If the packaging is reasonably damaged (enough to believe the product inside suffered damage as well), do not accept delivery from the carrier.  If delivery was accepted, and the product was damaged, VF1 Systems LLC should be notified within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt, at which point we will assist the customer in contacting the carrier and invoking the insurance policy.

Each incident will be handled on a case by case basis.  VF1 Systems LLC will take all necessary and rational steps to correct the problem in dealing with D.O.A. products.

No return shipments will be accepted by VF1 Systems LLC without an RMA

It is under the full discretion of VF1 Systems LLC to allow or deny refunds which fall outside the scope of this policy.

 

REFUND POLICY

The customer has fifteen (15) days after product purchase to request a refund. All packaged products falling outside the D.O.A. policy are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Restocking fee DOES NOT apply to VF1 Systems branded Night Vision products. This fee is charged because all return units are sent back to the factory for inspection, recalibration, refurbishment, and repackaging. We advise customers to purchase products from VF1 Systems LLC with care and consult a VF1 Systems LLC agent for guidance on the application or capability of a product. No returns on ANY products are accepted after 15 days.

 

RETURNS POLICY

Shipping costs are not refundable.

Each refund will be treated on a case by case basis depending on circumstances. Refunds much be reported to VF1 Systems LLC by contact along with the invoice number and contact information.

 

VF1 Systems LLC LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY

VF1 Systems LLC warrants all VF1 Systems branded night vision devices assembled by VF1 Systems LLC after 31 January 2021 (original 10 year warranty shall apply for products assembled prior to this date) for the lifetime of the product and guarantees this product to be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under normal use, and transferable by the owner assuming that the product otherwise still falls within the scope of this warranty. 

In the event that a defect covered by this warranty occurs VF1 Systems LLC, at its discretion, will either repair or replace the product.  Such action on the part of VF1 Systems LLC shall be the full extent of the company’s liability, and the customer’s sole and exclusive remedy. This warranty applies to all VF1 Systems-assembled Night Vision Device housing systems listed as Lifetime Warranty units, and furthermore warrants that all Image Intensifier Tubes will be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of 2 years after the original date of purchase. This warranty does not cover:

– Products that were used in other than normal and customary manner.

– Products that were misused.

– Products that were altered, modified, or repaired by the customer or a party other than VF1 Systems LLC, Inc.

– Products that were discontinued by the manufacturer and either parts or replacement units are not available due to reasons beyond the control of VF1 Systems LLC, Inc.

– Damage, defects, or failures resulting from use that would be construed by any reasonable person as normal and expected “wear and tear.”

– Transfer of covered products to a new owner. The Limited Lifetime Warranty extends only to the original customer who purchased the products directly from VF1 Systems LLC and is not assignable or transferrable to any subsequent purchase/customer/owner.

VF1 Systems LLC, Inc. shall not be responsible for any defects or damage that in the company’s opinion, resulted from the mishandling, abuse, misuse, improper storage, or improper operation, including use in conjunction with equipment which is electrically or mechanically incompatible with or of inferior quality to the product, as well as failure to maintain the environmental conditions specified by the manufacturer.  This includes using rechargeable batteries, storing the product with batteries installed, or battery compartment corrosion due to faulty battery. Warranty claims falling outside of the scope of these written warranty terms may incur repair, labor, and shipping fees charged to the customer.

Customer is hereby notified that operation of the equipment during daylight or under excessive light conditions may permanently damage the image intensifier tube.  While almost all VF1 Systems night vision systems are auto-gated, they are not able to withstand exposure to constant light including, but not limited to, light sources, weapon sights, laser radiation.  Auto-gated Image Intensifier Tubes are designed to stand up to nighttime battlefield light conditions, but prolonged exposure to any light source will still cause damage.

No other warranties except for this one apply to this product, including, but not limited to written, oral, statutory, expressed or implied, including any implied warranty or merchantability or fitness for particular purpose, shall apply to this product.
